LEADERSHIP FORUM
The Leadership Forum assists business entrepreneurs to strategically position their businesses to achieve optimum growth potential
through a broad-based overview of business trends and strategies and linkages to strategic business resources.
SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION SERIES
This series is designed for small businesses that want to optimize their growth potential by developing both
short- and long-term strategies. Facilitators include experts from the Small Business Administration, Small Business Development
Centers, Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and accomplished practicing professionals.
CORPORATE LEADERSHIP CONNECTION
The Corporate Leadership Connection creates and opportunity for corporate leaders to get to know one another,
share leadership challenges and develop best practices.
ORCHESTRATING LEADERSHIP
Orchestrating Leadership is an extraordinary example of effective leadership and mentorship in action.
CWCC members and guests will watch Marin Alsop, Conductor Laureate of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, and a selected up and coming female conductor conduct a mesmerizing behind the scenes dress rehearsal with the CSO.
MONTHLY LUNCHEONS
CWCC’s monthly luncheons provide a unique mentoring opportunity by entrepreneurial women leaders sharing their
best leadership practices and key strengths to succeed in business. These inspirational success stories, coupled with opportunities to build business relationships, provide vital leadership and business development opportunities.
PUBLIC POLICY
PUBLIC POLICY—WOMEN MAKING A DIFFERENCE
This annual policy forum is dedicated to informing members about how to get involved in the public policy process
and features a panel of outstanding women in politics.
LAWMAKERS AWARDS
In conjunction with the Denver Women’s Commission, the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce honors
Colorado lawmakers at an annual Colorado Lawmakers Award Reception. Attendees have an opportunity to speak
with lawmakers about issues that are important to them while acknowledging and showing appreciation for the important
work they have done for women in the community.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/NETWORKING
BUSINESS-AFTER-HOURS
Business-After-Hours events allow members to showcase their businesses while creating an opportunity
to establish relationships with other business leaders.
CWCC LEADS GROUPS
Six metro-area Leads Groups provide opportunities for participants to develop key business relationships,
network and increase their visibility.
MEMBER ORIENTATIONS
On the first Wednesday of the month, CWCC holds informational sessions for both new and prospective members to
provide an overview of the membership opportunities and benefits.

20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION / ANNUAL MEETINGS
The Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce’s 20th Anniversary Celebration /Annual Meeting will feature Colorado’s
First Lady, Jeannie Ritter, as keynote speaker and a very special lifetime achievement tribute to Patricia Barela Rivera,
retiring SBA District Director, presented by Mayor John Hickenlooper.
ATHENA AWARDS
The ATHENA Awards honors exceptional women leaders for their career success, service to the community and encouragement
of other women. This prestigious award seeks to inspire others to achieve excellence in their professional and personal lives.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Golf Tournament provides participants with a day of
networking, business development and fun. A three-hour golf clinic adds to the success of the event.
FIRED UP FOR KIDS
The Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Denver Firefighters “Fired up for Kids” fundraiser supports the
Children’s Hospital Burn Center through the sales Colorado Firefighter Calendar.
COUNCILS
TOURISM, HOSPITALITY & ENTERTAINMENT COUNCIL
This Council promotes Tourism, Hospitality and Entertainment by providing a forum for
professionals to share best practices, learn about business and economic trends and market their businesses.
PUBLIC POLICY COUNCIL
This Council provides an avenue for the exchange of information and ideas concerning issues affecting the business
community in regard to public policy issues.
SPONSORSHIP COUNCIL
This Council provides an opportunity for members to get involved with the Chamber’s special events, which provide
increased visibility and exposure to thousands of attendees, both members and non-members, throughout the year. Participation in the Sponsorship Council not only helps the Chamber grow, but also offers opportunities for our members’ businesses to develop increased awareness in the community.
