GREEN BUSINESS MAKES "CENTS"
WORKSHOP
Fourth
in series of green workshops will be presented by
Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce on Earth
Day
Denver -
The
fourth workshop aimed at helping prepare a green
business environment for Denver to host the 2008
Democratic National Convention is scheduled for Earth
Day, Tuesday, April 22. Hosted by the Colorado Women's
Chamber of Commerce, the workshop will feature an
address by Katherine Archuleta, Senior Advisor on Policy
and Initiatives to Mayor John Hickenlooper. She will
discuss the city's progress in creating a green
convention and a sustainable city.
WHAT: Green
Business Makes "Cents" workshop is sponsored by the
Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce, Denver Host
Committee, Alliance for
Sustainable Colorado and Colorado Department of Health
and Environment Leadership Program, Downing Street
Garage, Triple Bottom Line Partners, and Xcel
Energy.
WHO:
Greening experts from the Alliance for
Sustainable Colorado, IBM, Xcel, Downing Street Garage,
and New Era Paint discuss real world case studies in
which businesses are improving environmental performance
and sustainability in the Rocky Mountain region and
nationally. WHEN:
