Community work (board service, volunteering, mentoring, etc.):

• 2017 – 2020 CWCC Young Professionals Board

CWCC Involvement (CWCC member for x amount of years, Engagement within CWCC: serve on our board, support our members and team, etc.)

• I helped bring Google into the Chamber in 2017, and served on the Young Professionals board for three terms. In my last year I sat on the Executive Committee as board Secretary. I started a Social Justice Book Club with the YP group and am looking forward to expanding it to the rest of the Chamber in January! I’m also currently participating in the Women of Influence & Impact leadership program. 

The Why: Why do you do what you do/ why are you passionate about your work in our community?

• I initially joined the Chamber out of a vague interest in growing my network after moving here from out of state. But I quickly realized that I’d stumbled into a gold mine of opportunity – it is wild how much we can activate our potential and grow our impact by building connections with each other and taking advantage of opportunities highlighted through the Chamber. Being actively engaged with the CWCC helped me realize my leadership potential and gave me courage to grow and to embrace my strength, both at work and outside of it. I’m so grateful for my CWCC family and look forward to leveraging my membership as a catalyst for growth and a platform to help others in their journey for years to come!
