Community work (board service, volunteering, mentoring, etc.) – Erica currently serves on the boards of Emily Griffith Foundation and Enterprise Community Partners, as well as, on committees for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Prosper Colorado and Bank On Denver. She is a proud certified CASA volunteer for over five years and also participates in the Youth Alliance Initiative, which matches caring mentors with young adults who have aged out of the foster care system.
CWCC Involvement: Erica has been involved the last 3 years since she joined Bank of America and through previous leadership roles while she was at Vectra Bank (15 years) and US Bank previously.
The Why: Why do you do what you do/ why are you passionate about your work in our community?
Erica is a selfless, tireless leader in the community who never stops advocating for other women. She is passionate about making connections and building networks of, and for, women to invest not only in their success, but also that of the greater community. Erica was instrumental in establishing Bank of America’s sponsorship of the CWCC’s Powerful Voices event series, now in BofA’s third year of support, by building upon the natural synergies between the Chamber’s and the Bank’s efforts to foster an inclusive, supportive and empowering culture for women and men. Erica recognized that the impact of being able to hear from and connect to powerful and influential change-makers in our community leads to greater opportunities for women to be in positions of influence, achieve pay equality and build stronger networks. This can only be attributed to her being a change-maker herself!
Erica was nominated by her colleague, friend, and fan. YOU can nominate and surprise an outstanding woman, too! Email Morgan at mmontgomery@cwcc.org
