About the Role
The Operations Coordinator at the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce plays an instrumental role in supporting the daily operational functions of the organization. This individual will work closely with leadership and other team members to ensure the Chamber’s administrative, logistical, and infrastructural operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Coordinate and oversee daily administrative tasks, including office management, procurement of supplies, and handling incoming inquiries.
- Manage the Chamber’s databases, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with the financial team to assist in budgeting, invoicing, and other fiscal activities.
Facility Management
- Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, safe, and conducive to productivity.
- Liaise with service providers and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and any required improvements.
Technology and Systems
- Oversee the Chamber’s IT systems, ensuring software is updated and hardware is in good working condition.
- Assist staff with technological needs, troubleshooting, and provide basic IT support.
Internal Communication
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of internal meetings, including logistics, catering, and technology setup.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments and with the leadership team.
- Support the Board of Directors as needed
Member and Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist in onboarding new members, providing necessary information and resources.
- Support the program and events teams in the logistics of member events and engagements.
Assistance to the CEO
- Meeting scheduling and calendar management (as requested)
- Conduct general and clerical office tasks
- Liaise with relevant corporate personnel at all levels
Desired Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, administrative support, or a related role.
- Proficient understanding of office management procedures and systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Commitment to advancing the mission and vision of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
