Welcoming Rhonda Skallan as the New Facilitator of the CWCC Founders Forum Peer Group

Blog CWCC News

The Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) is excited to announce Rhonda Skallan, founder of Spark Alchemy, as the new facilitator of our CWCC Founders Forum Peer Group—a trusted, member-only resource designed for women business owners navigating the complex work of building and growing companies.

Founders Forum brings together CWCC member business owners in a collaborative, confidential environment where participants share resources, exchange ideas, learn from guest speakers, and develop leadership and business skills alongside peers who truly understand the founder journey. This group meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:00–10:00 a.m., and participation is open to CWCC members whose businesses are Colorado-registered LLCs or corporations.

Join us on February 11th at the NEW location: Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

Rhonda takes over for the past facilitator, Brie Delizi Zoller, of Brie Z Operations and Re.Living Co, who passionately served the CWCC for 2+ years as Founders Forum facilitator.

Meet Rhonda Skallan

Rhonda Skallan is the founder of Spark Alchemy, a company that designs and produces women-centered experiences that bring people together around shared interests, leadership, and social impact. Through immersive forums, workshops, and special events, Spark Alchemy helps women build meaningful relationships, recognize their collective influence, and translate connection into real-world impact—for their businesses and communities.

With professional experience spanning six industries (healthcare, construction, technology, education, finance, and entertainment), Rhonda brings a practical, systems-minded approach to facilitation. Her work is grounded in the belief that joy, clarity, and effectiveness can (and should) coexist in leadership spaces.

A Natural Fit for Founders Forum

Rhonda’s connection to Founders Forum began shortly after joining CWCC.

“I joined CWCC in January of 2024 and was drawn to Founders Forum almost immediately. I’ve been attending regularly since early on, and it quickly became one of the most grounding and consistent spaces in my business life.”

That consistency—and the trust it builds—is what she values most about the group.

“What I love most about Founders Forum is the consistency and depth of the relationships. As founders, we often face similar challenges, but we don’t always have spaces where we can speak honestly about where we are and get thoughtful support from others who truly understand. FF creates that kind of trust and shared problem-solving.”

Leading With Values, Joy, and Impact

Rhonda’s approach to facilitation is deeply informed by her own experience as a business owner.

“I love that no two days are the same and that I get to build in alignment with my values. Being a business owner gives me the freedom to experiment, evolve, and make tangible changes I want to see in the world. I care deeply about creating work rooted in joy, meaningful connection, and positive impact—especially for women and the communities we influence.”

Looking ahead, she sees Founders Forum as an essential space for women founders across Colorado.

“In 2026, I hope Founders Forum continues to be a space where women founders feel supported, challenged, and genuinely connected. I’d love to see the group grow in both membership and visibility, while maintaining the trust, intimacy, and honest conversation that make FF so valuable. My hope is that members leave each session feeling clearer, more confident, and energized to move their businesses forward—together.”

A Fun (and Surprising) Fact

True to her wide-ranging background, Rhonda brings some unexpected life experience to the table.

“Before my current work, I established and managed the first-ever childcare center for the Denver Athletic Club back in the early 1990s—an experience that shaped my deep appreciation for community-building, logistics, and leadership in action. Also, in my work in entertainment, I was on bodyguard duty for several entertainers including Sinbad, David Copperfield, and Trisha Yearwood.”
