Free upcoming solar energy educational seminar

Join us for a brief educational seminar about Solar Energy and the benefits of going solar from 10 – 11 a.m. on Oct. 2 at Maggiano’s DTC before the DTC Luncheon featuring Leeann Iacino.  In this seminar, you will learn about: 

• Photovoltaic technology – how the equipment works to generate power, warranties
• Economic benefits to go solar soon – federal tax credits, utility rebates, fixed rates of electricity, immediate power generation, retail rates for excess production, green marketing
• Environmental benefits to go solar – reducing carbon footprint, producing clean electricity to the grid, energy independence from local, permanent source
• Determining factors of whether you can go solar – building owner, south-facing roof, land for ground mount, Xcel or Aquila customer, timeline, payments
• Solar installation process – steps taken to asses, install, and activate solar systems
• Solar outlook – the forecast on how CO businesses will generate electricity ten years from now
