More About Maureen

In her current role with HCA Healthcare’s Continental Division, Maureen leads community engagement efforts across 11 hospitals in Denver and Wichita, focusing on assessing and responding to local community health needs. At the heart of this work is a belief that thriving businesses and healthy communities are inseparable. Through partnerships with nonprofit organizations and by engaging more than 13,000 HCA colleagues, she helps turn corporate purpose into real-world impact.

Maureen’s commitment to women’s leadership and civic engagement has been deeply felt within the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. She has played a pivotal role in advancing CWCC’s mission, including overseeing the Chamber’s Leadership Program during 2019–2020—a formative experience for many women leaders who continue to shape Colorado’s business landscape today. Her leadership reflects CWCC’s values: collaboration, equity, and a belief that women’s advancement strengthens our entire economy.

Her influence extends well beyond CWCC. Maureen previously led Community Benefit for Kaiser Permanente Colorado and served for 13 years as Executive Director of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, where she helped cultivate the next generation of civic and business leaders. Today, she continues to give back through board service with the Girl Scouts of Colorado, Mile High United Way, and the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation.

A tireless advocate for women and community health, Maureen is actively involved in Together to End Stroke, a grassroots initiative with the American Heart Association and Stride Community Health. She is also deeply engaged in women’s organizations across Colorado, including the International Women’s Forum of Colorado, where she served as Board President; Colorado Angels, a philanthropic collective; Women of Distinction for the Girl Scouts of Colorado; and Women United.

Her leadership and impact have not gone unnoticed. In recent years, Maureen has received the inaugural Visionary Award from the American Heart Association of Colorado (2024), been named one of CWCC’s Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business (2024), and earned a Community Service Award from Mile High United Way (2025).

We are honored to celebrate Maureen’s leadership and impact at the 2026 State of Women in Business Luncheon, and grateful for her continued commitment to building a more inclusive, resilient, and thriving Colorado.
