The Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Announces the 2024 Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business
DENVER (June 27, 2024) – The Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) is pleased to honor the positive impact of 25 local women leaders at its 2024 gala event on August 22, 2024.
The CWCC Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business Awards Gala recognizes the accomplishments and community involvement of 25 individuals and one CWCC Top 25 Legacy Award winner, Dawn P. Bookhardt.
Bookhardt, an accomplished lawyer, philanthropist, and activist, is best known for her work in helping make Denver the world-class city it is today.
She has been a key player in high-profile public and private development projects in Denver, including the redevelopment of the Central Park neighborhood, the expansion of the Colorado Convention Center, and the renovation of Denver’s Union Station.
“Dawn P. Bookhardt’s unwavering dedication and visionary leadership have paved the way for countless individuals to thrive,” said CWCC CEO Simone D. Ross. “Her relentless pursuit of excellence and her ability to transform challenges into opportunities have not only elevated her community but also set a powerful example for future generations. It is an honor to celebrate Dawn as our Legacy Award winner, acknowledging her profound impact and enduring legacy in business and beyond.”
The Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business Gala will be hosted at Seawell Ballroom on Thursday, August 22 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets and sponsorships typically sell out quickly and can be purchased at CWCC.org.
The annual gala event profiles powerful and impactful women in Colorado and the work they are doing to advance and promote other female leaders. Winners are selected by past Top-25-honorees based on four criteria: civic and community engagement, proven leadership, passion for the promotion of women in business, and perseverance.
“This impressive class of Top 25 winners from across the state is committed to advancing women in business and actively promotes equity in the workplace,” said Ross. “We have a truly balanced representation of women leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds, industries, ages, and titles, who represent the force and growth of female progress and influence in our community.”
