Tamra Ryan Joins CWCC as Facilitator of the Women’s Leadership Lab
The Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) is thrilled to announce that Tamra Ryan will serve as the new facilitator of the Women’s Leadership Lab, our leadership development program designed to equip and advance women leaders in Denver.
Tamra is a nationally recognized speaker, author, and leadership expert who is redefining what it means to lead with both purpose and compassion. For more than two decades, she served as CEO of Women’s Bean Project, a pioneering social enterprise that transformed lives through transitional employment. Her journey from corporate executive to thought leader reflects her passion for creating lasting change through visionary, compassionate leadership.

Today, Tamra continues her impact as the Coors Economic Mobility Fellow for Common Sense Institute Colorado, where she engages in critical policy discussions aimed at fostering equity and economic opportunity. She is also a sought-after speaker known for her actionable insights on compassionate leadership, social enterprise, and building organizations that thrive.
Tamra is the author of two books:
- The Third Law, an award-winning exploration of the barriers marginalized women face in breaking cycles of poverty.
- Followship: 16 Lessons to Become a Leader Worth Following (2025), a powerful guide for leaders who want to inspire trust, loyalty, and transformation.
Through her writing, speaking, and coaching, Tamra equips leaders to embrace responsibility, navigate challenges, and create meaningful impact. Her message is simple but profound: leadership isn’t just about success—it’s about inspiring others to follow with purpose and, ultimately, to become leaders worth following themselves.
About the Women’s Leadership Lab
At CWCC, we believe that women should have equal opportunities to lead at every level. Yet, today, only 29% of CEOs are women, and only 7% of those positions are held by women of color.
The Women’s Leadership Lab is our response—a leadership development program for women in Denver designed to prepare emerging leaders to grow in their careers and lead in their communities. Participants gain skills and expand their understanding of issues impacting women at work through four focus areas:
- Identity
- Allyship
- Cultural Norms
- Advancement and Retention
We’re honored to welcome Tamra Ryan to lead this transformative program. With her experience, insights, and passion for developing leaders worth following, we’re confident she will inspire and equip participants to make an impact that lasts.
