Award Nominations Closing Soon – August 2 deadline

The Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the Young Professionals Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Sustainable Company of the Year and CWCC Company of the Year Awards (small, medium, large companies) until 5 p.m. on August 2.  The CWCC awards are a great way to honor and recognize outstanding professionals and businesses in the community.  Please consider nominating someone you know and/or your company for one of the following awards:
  • Young Professionals Award: Recognizes the efforts of an outstanding Colorado young professional woman who demonstrates significant accomplishments in her career and has contributed to the business community.  This emerging leader pursues excellence and possesses leadership qualities, creativity, and demonstrates role model qualities.  Additionally, she works to improve the quality of life of others through community service.   • Lifetime Achievement Award: To be eligible, the nominee must: be a member of the community for a minimum of five years; show significant leadership and made an impact on women in her community; demonstrate integrity; and contributed a body of work that has made an effective change in a specific segment of her community.  This can include: environmental, community, business, and social.  Visit https://cwcc.org/Awards/Lifetime_Achievement2010.doc for the nomination form.
  • CWCC Company of the Year Awards: Honor companies that create a workplace culture that supports the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment for their employees who are women by: encouraging them to excel in the company, devote time and energy to their community in a meaningful way, and forge paths of leadership for other women to follow. CWCC Company of the Year strives toward these efforts to create balance in their leadership teams.  Company of the Year Recipients must meet each of the following criteria: Size Criteria: Large Business: 500+ employees / Medium Business: 51-499 employees / Small Business: 50 employees or less.   • CWCC Sustainable Company of the Year: To be eligible, the nominee must: worked in the creation/implementation of a program or business model that has made a measurable contribution to the environment, the economy and society; explain their Corporate Social Responsibility policy and how it functions as a built-in, self-regulating mechanism; how the company proactively promotes community growth and development. Honorees will be recognized during the Annual Awards Luncheon on October 7 at the Hyatt Regency Colorado Convention Center.  Help us honor outstanding women leaders and businesses that have made a difference for women employees.
