Member Profile: Centura Health

Centura Health connects individuals, families and neighborhoods across Colorado and western Kansas with more than 6,000 physicians and 19,000 of the best hearts and minds in health care. Members since 2012, Centura Health joined the CWCC to provide innovative resources that help their female associates grow and develop while creating meaningful connections with neighbors. Centura Health is passionate about people and always looking for ways to further nourish our local communities.

Centura Health continues in the legacy its founding sisters created – who were well ahead of their time.

In the 1800’s, the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati were called out West to pioneer the future of health care: that is, the wild west, full of cowboys, outlaws and Billy the Kid. These sisters would go up to the mining camps with their bags of medicine or whatever supplies they could muster to deliver aid, compassionate care and healing to the roughest, toughest of folks.

Their guts, their tenacity and their hearts inspire Centura Health daily to shatter norms, set new standards in care, leadership and extend our progressive past far into the future.
