MEMBER PROFILE: Snell and Wilmer
CWCC Member, Snell & Wilmer, is concentrated on business issues, including advice, negotiation, and contract review and litigation across a wide range of fields. They have experience in trade secrets, consumer lending litigation for institutional clients, condemnation/eminent domain, environmental law, real estate and construction litigation, special districts/local government and insurance coverage matters.
Jessica Yates, Partner at Snell & Wilmer, is thrilled to have accepted a position on the CWCC Board of Directors in order to further the organization’s mission and help advance women in business. Jessica was recently recognized on the Denver Business Journal’s list of the Top Women in Energy in 2018.
She says she is inspired by the women who continuously push for the recognition of female accomplishments, present and past. For example, she loved seeing the U.S. women’s hockey Olympic team win gold this year. Beryl Markham is one of her favorite female historical figures who defied any and all assumptions of what women could or should be doing, growing up hunting, horse-training and then flying planes in Africa and across the Atlantic, including a record-setting flight in 1936.
Please make sure to congratulate Jessica on her recent CWCC Board position at our next event!
